Labor Day weekend means a lot to citizens of this country: An extra day off work, an extended weekend to barbecue, or a weekend to travel and visit relatives. For this group of gamers, however, it means one thing. ChicagoLANd.
ChicagoLANd is a gathering of our KaTet. The Gunsligners assemble in the Windy City to take over a suitable place, and turn it into a gaming haven. This is the 2nd annual LAN in Chi-Town, and it was one for the ages.

The TTL Gunslingers happily hosted their 7th B(ring) Y(our) O(wn) G(ame) Night on the evening of August 10th. 8 Bit Brigade were our guests, who are highly esteemed allies of ours. We have enjoyed their company in 2 different challenges and we were excited to host them in this custom game event as well. Participants from 8BB included Nodak4Ever, Shlugendah, CzarCastic, Cappin Mike, NJAsmodeus, and Canis Firebrand. Representing TTL for the evening were Fezzer, TTL L askan, orcishmiscreant, TTL Snatch250, TTL zuez patter, and bs angel. In this particular event I asked for no actionsack sort of games (I have a particular distaste for those). So everybody selected an actionsack sort of game. Clearly everybody loves me.

For the past few weeks MLG tryouts and practices have been on everyone’s mind. Only a few weeks ago it was announced that Tied the Leader would brand their own Major League team. Since then, the appointed Captains, Homicide and Jacklos have been getting their hands dirty trying to find the remaining six members for the team.
